Created by the
North Coast Geography Network

Welcome!

Over a decade ago, we created the first online interactive pollution maps in the U.S. - our Santa Cruz Toxics Release Inventory. This small local project led to our work on Environmental Defense's Chemical Scorecard - a national mapping of toxic facilities and releases.

The Redwood Coast Toxic Discoveries website is a way for local residents to find out more about toxic chemicals where they live, work and play. Return often as this is just the beginning and we intend to add many more resources over time.
