U.S. Age Adjusted Mortality
Source - The National Atlas of the United States(tm) (find metadata here). This map layer from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) mortality in
Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Ventura and Kern Counties, California was extracted from the National Atlas of the United States(tm). Similar maps are available for any geographic area(s) in the
United States. The map layer for the entire U.S. includes 805 county
groups. Data fields include the age adjusted mortality rate for
Black females, Black males, White females, and White males for each of the following categories; heart disease, all cancers, lung cancer,
breast cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, stroke, unintentional injuries, motor vehicle injuries, chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease, pneumonia and influenza, diabetes, suicide,
firearm suicide, homicide, liver disease, HIV, and all causes.
